An examination can be a daunting task for students, especially freshers. This article has the best ten tips that will make your exam preparation successful.

1. Wake up early: Do not stay up late and sleep through the day and wake up only at night to cram your notes and mug them all up before exams. You won't be able to retain much anyway, so take breaks even while studying. Sleep well so that you don't need to rely on caffeine!

2. Be regular with your studies: Have a fixed study schedule every week depending on the time available for analyses. Go over your subjects in advance, highlight important points or jot down essential formulae which you might require for the exam/ essay writing work during the examinations themselves. Review whatever is required of an assignment before it is due to avoid last-minute hassles!

3. Take regular small breaks: While studying for exams, it is crucial to take breaks after every hour. Go out with your friends who are not exam-burdened! You will be able to focus better on your studies when you come back.

4. Keep a timetable of the entire year's syllabus right from Class 9 until Class 12 and try to complete one subject per month at least! This way, you have reviewed all you have studied in 4 months before the actual examinations begin. It saves a lot of worry about revision too!!

5. Don't cram everything by reading day and night for exams. Apart from being tiring, this does not help much either! Take notes instead wherever possible, make diagrams alongside if required. This will help you revise the topic quickly whenever needed.

6. Keep copies of all your school attendances and records safe so that somebody at home can apply for revaluation later if it is needed!

7. Take good care of your eyes. If you wear glasses, do not forget to carry them along to the examination center too! Also, take some eye drops before entering the exam hall, just in case!! If you are short-sighted or long-sighted, choose an appropriate seat accordingly without compromising the comfort, of course!!!

8. Last but not least - NEVER LOSE YOUR CONFIDENCE during exams!! Yes, even if a paper does not go as planned, don't feel disheartened and lose hope altogether. Sometimes, it is just a matter of being over-confident and expecting the paper to be easy. Keep your morale high at all times!

9. Have fun whenever you find some time to relax from your studies! Read fiction, comic books, or chill with friends!! Avoid getting into trouble, though, as it will further complicate things like giving exams or writing essays, etc., during that time!

10. Never ignore your health before exams - stay away from junk food and sugary snacks; drink lots of water; exercise regularly to keep yourself fit; eat healthy food; avoid stress and tension!!!
